Cuyuna Regional Medical Center - Care Center is a long-term care facility licensed for 120-beds. It provides 24-hour care for people needing both long-term care as well as those requiring transitional care such as rehabilitation and recovery after surgery. Being located on the Medical Campus, residents of the Care Center have convenient access to a full range of comprehensive medical services under one roof.

The Care Center offers resident-centered care, spacious rooms, beautiful lounge areas, comfortable dining room, fenced backyard and patio, and a specialized dementia care program.

The medical environment of traditional nursing homes has been transformed at the Care Center into lively, interactive communities where opportunities for companionship flourish every day.

Our dedicated team of long-term care professionals provides residents with high quality care and compassion. Resident's care is designed for their individual needs. Our staff also assists families with everything they need to plan for and manage their loved ones care. 

Resources for seniors on healthcare, insurance, prescriptions, meals and housing can be found by visiting the MN Board on Aging at www.mnaging.org/advisor/ltcce.htm where you can also reach the Senior LinkAge line. Minnesota now has a single point of entry to long term care decision making and choices that can assist you. During the 2011 Special Session of the Legislature, a new initiative was adopted that requires the Senior Linkage Line and Lead Agencies (counties, Tribes, and health plans) to expand access to Long Term Care Consultation to those entering a Registered housing with service setting. The new service is called Provision of Long Term Care Options Counseling.

Activities for a healthy, happy life

The Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Care Center Activities Calendar will be published monthly (May Activities Calendar). Our programs are exciting, stimulating and offer a broad spectrum of activities to cater to a variety of skills, interests, and creativity. Everyday we dedicate ourselves to providing different opportunities such as outings, educational and enrichment classes, chapel services and music, arts and crafts, games, wellness classes and more. There’s something for everyone! Most importantly, we are open to fresh ideas so please give us your suggestions!
